ODioodle Photo

Through photography I document and share insights into the culture and lives of people throughout the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many exciting places in and around my own country, and to culturally diverse destinations such as Bali, Tokyo, Hawaii, Cuba, and Mexico.

On Tour: Cuban Rhythms of Life

Cuban Rhythms of Life is an exhibit of photographs taken on a trip to Cuba in March of 2001. Most images were shot in and around the city of Habana. The unexpected warmth and friendliness of the Cuban people were wonderful to experience. Individuals that I met were eager for contact with me as an American. Their willingness to share with me their secret dreams of freedom touched my heart, and I yearn to return to this forbidden island to support them in their struggle for a better life. I hope and encourage each of you to take the opportunity to visit Cuba to engage in a shared, meaningful and fulfilling exchange of culture, vision and hope.

Pahoa Springtime Jamm: Updated!

To create the images presented in this exhibition I traveled to the Puna District of the Big Island, Hawaii, where I photographed a local fair, the Pahoa Springtime Jamm. The original Hawaiian soundtrack and the images deliver a friendly intimate view of locals at play. Click HERE to see it!
